What Am I Working on?

Currently working on a new body of work as I document my current exhibition: Conflict: Self and the World. It’s fun and interesting to see my work evolve in such a way. I took one of my style — geometric mixed with freehand drawing– and have touched it up a notch by applying mostly free hand. I am also dealing with darker colors this time around and shortening my list of colors (we shall see how long that lasts). But before I really delved into the abstract shapes, I got back into painting with an OG palette knife approach. But I do see the eyes coming as “focal points” for both.
Solo Exhibition
Another venue for Conflict: Self and the World has been added. More info coming soon. But the next venue is The People’s Place in Waterbury, CT. This venue will feature an opening reception, live painting, private tours, and an artist talk.

Group Shows
You can see a few of my pieces at Gallery 53 in Meriden, CT and The 203 Art Space in Stamford.

Notes:
As I continue my solo exhibition and work on my next body of work, I am in talks with art consultants and other art professionals to collaborate with. I have also become a member of SURGE, a Waterbury arts organization.
Additionally, as a writer, I am writing episodes of my upcoming comic book End of Ishara.
Stay tuned for more news.
