As the Summer winds down, so does Conflict: Self and the World. My solo exhibit taught me so much about myself and my practice. I couldn’t be more proud for putting myself out there and giving the world and introduction to who I am as an artist. 30 paintings. Wow… . Almost feels unreal. At the beginning of 2025, I had no idea my journey would bring me here.
I appreciate everyone who saw the work and had something to say about it. I feel like there is so much to say, something profound. Conflict: Self and the World is about me taking my power back from societal expectations, and I believe I took my power back in the best way possible.
From here on out, I will focus on selling the pieces as I work on my next theme — HELLSCAPE. I’m still in the beginning stages of it, but everything is coming together nicely. I’ve got art, some script ideas, and even a possible fashion show — very ambitious, but who better to do it all than myself. And I can’t wait to see it come to my life. As I have mentioned in previous posts, HELLSCAPE(2027) is my very detailed letter of concern to religion. We’ve got a lot to talk about there(which explains the depths I must go to).
Stay in touch for future updates on HELLSCAPE(2027).
Thank you.
